It includes convenient features like one-step single check calculation, gross-up, set-up interviews, and customized checks. You can run trial payrolls and easily make last minute changes. The system handles multiple direct deposit banks per employee, and automatically prepares tax information for transmission.

Abra Train offers the ability to track training requirements within an organization. Classes can be organized and filled with employees who need the class based on their individual training requirements. As an employee successfully completes a class, employee skills are updated in HR. Recurring training requirements can be tracked to help maintain employee certifications.

An initial load can be performed based on job description and supervisor information in Abra HR. Abra Recruiting Solution automates much of the recruiting process. Resumes can be scanned from paper, or imported from electronic format and placed directly in a searchable database. This allows efficient organization of applicant data with search capabilities. Personalized form letters can be quickly and easily sent to applicants at the appropriate time in the recruiting process. There are over 50 preformatted reports and queries that allow tracking of the entire hiring process.

Abra Attendance is used to manage any type of attendance plan including vacation, sick, personal days, jury duty, bereavement, and leaves of absence. Employees can receive an instant year to date snapshot of their attendance status. Attendance problems or abuses can be quickly detected. The attendance system interfaces with Payroll to eliminate duplicate data entry.

Abra Alerts utilizes information in the Abra Suite database to trigger automated messages informing relevant parties about key activities and pending issues. The system comes with preformatted alerts such as: informing key departments of new hires; deduction goals met; overtime listing; negative available balance in an attendance plan, etc.

Abra Employee Self-Service can be set up to allow employees to view attendance transactions, current paid time off balances, current benefits elections, paycheck history, tax withholdings, direct deposit information, training schedules, class offerings, and demographic information such as address and phone number.
